Mrs. M. Padma- (HOD)

A peerless, proactive pedagogue and mentor with 16 years of experience in research and education. Currently the HOD of Microbiology, Ms. Padma Madham started her career as a research project assistant in the esteemed Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru and continued as a Junior Research Fellow in CRIDA, Hyderabad. She then changed roles and became an educator with Satyam Learning Campus as an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy department and subsequently Aurora Engineering College B.Tech Biotechnology department. Parallely,she continued scientific research and has four publications to her credit. She brings her research experience in to academic teaching to enrich the students with technical skills.

Mrs. Manjusha

Mrs. Mary Manjusha Rani has completed M.Sc (Kakatiya University), M.Tech (JNTU) in Microbiology and Biotechnology respectively and has got a descent research and academic experience. She has started her academic career in 2005 at Holy Cross Degree college for women, BHEL, Hyderabad for a period of 2 years (2005-2007). She then served as a research microbiologist at STDC State TB Demonstration Centre, Erradgadda, Hyderabad from 2008-2010. Mrs. Manjusha also worked as Assistant Professor at sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology in the department of Biotechnology and is a Ratified as Assistant professor professor by Selection committee, JNTUH, February, 2010. She has also qualified the TSSET examination and is working as a senior assistant professor at Aurora Degree and PG College in the department of Microbiology since 2018.

Vasudevan Ranganathan

Vasudevan holds a Master’s degree with dual specialization in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from SRM University, Chennai. Following masters he started his career at PRA International, Pune as a clinical data retriever from 2006-2007. From 2007-2008 he has completed his advance diploma in biotechnology with microbiology and enzymology as major modules. He has also completed M.RES (Masters of Research) specializing in Cell, Molecular and Cancer Biology at NTU, UK (2010-2012) and has served as research assistant at the cancer facility at the University and was also associated with the Government Cancer Hospital, Leicester, UK. Following M.RES, he joined SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Chennai as a JRF (Junior Research Fellow) (2012-2015) specializing in bacterial genetics of Staphylococcus aureus and has published research and review articles that validates his research. From 2015-2016 he served as a research assistant at RASA Informatics, Pune and also worked as medical coding trainer from 2017-2018 at GEMS Hospital, Srikakulam. He is also associated as a reviewer and editor with the Journal of Microbiology and Experimentation since 2014. Between 2008-2010 (Biotechnology department), 2018-2019 (Microbiology department) he worked as a lecturer at Sai Sudhir Degree and PG College and is currently working at Aurora Degree and PG College as an assistant professor since January 2019 till date.
