S Padmavathi - Head of the Department of English

S Padmavathi is the Head of the Department of English. She holds a Master’s degree in English with a B.Ed from Nagarjuna University, and has experience of teaching the English language for more than 20 years. She is passionate about teaching the English language and has attended workshops on “Methods and approaches for effective English teaching” conducted by CIEFL. She loves to integrate teaching with moral ethics and environmental awareness. Her research interests include Romantic Period poetry and Mythology. She has research papers presented and published in national and international journals to her acclaim.

DR P Bharathi - Professor

DR P Bharathi is working as a Professor of English at Aurora’s Degree & PG College, Hyderabad. She has twenty Eight years of experience in teaching English at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Her qualifications are MA, MEd, PhD& NET. She worked at EFLU& ATRI before joining ADC. She has many publications to her credit. She translated NPTEL SWAYAM Courses in Soft Skills, English and Applied Linguistics into Telugu. Her areas of interest include Teaching of Communication skills, Teacher training, Mentoring, Curriculum development, Cultural studies, Post-Colonial Literature and Modern Indian Literature in translation.

DR P Bharathi - Senior Associate Professor

D MalleswaraRaois currently working as senior associate professor in the department of English. He did his masters in English literature from Andhra University in the year 1987 and B.Ed from Annamalaiah University. He has more than 30 years of teaching experience and always strives hard to integrate teaching with moral and ethical values. He motivates children to develop curiosity and desire in their respective fields of learning.

Ms. A Sharon Priyanka - Associate Professor

Ms. A Sharon Priyankais working as an assistant professor in the department of English and has completed her Masters in English Literature from Arts College, Osmania University, in 2020. She has always been interested in the teaching field and qualified TS SET in 2023. She loves American Literature and Women's Writings. As a faculty coordinator of the Women’s Empowerment Cell, she works towards the betterment of women in the College.

Ms. P Vineetha - Assistant Professor

Ms. P Vineetha joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English after completing her Master's degree in Arts College, Osmania University, in 2020. Her interest lies in Indian Writing in English. She is dedicated towards her responsibilities and aspires to earn a name for herself in the teaching field. She qualified TS SET in 2023. As a Faculty member of the Cultural Committee, she desires overall development of students.

MoumitaSantra - Assistant Professor

MoumitaSantrais employed as an assistant professor of English at Aurora's Degree and PG College in Hyderabad. She has been working for the past 1.5 years. She holds a B.A., M.A., and B.Ed. Her teaching duties are concentrated on both undergraduate and graduate education. She invites students to participate in the Literary Club's discussions and educational activities as the club's convenor. She frequently employs group learning projects where students are given topics to investigate. She is passionate about discovering new teaching methods to make learning engaging. She delivered a research article that was later published in the country's "Purana" journal.

Ms.Sahithi Cheapuri - Assistant Professor

Ms.SahithiCheapuriis currently working as Assistant Professor of English at Aurora's Degree & PG College. She has completed her post-graduation in English from the same college. Her teaching objective is to make tomorrow's world better through today's generation. Her areas of interest include singing, dancing, poetry composition and giving motivational speeches.

Ms.Somagoni Madhu Priya - Assistant Professor

Ms.SomagoniMadhuPriyais currently working as Assistant professor of English in Aurora's Degree & PG College at Chikkadpally. Her passion is to build a career in the teaching profession to help and motivate students in achieving their goals by sharing her knowledge and skills. Her areas of interest are reading books, singing and giving speeches.
