Dr. Ravi Kiran Suripeddi completed his Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur in 2000 and Ph.D. in Plant Sciences from Osmania University in the year 2006. He worked on isolation and characterization of bioactive compounds from various medicinal plants during his tenure of research. He is having more than 14 years’ research experience in the area of Natural Products, Herbal medicinal formulations, Analytical Method Development and validations, Enzymology and 15 years as an academician. He is having a zest for life and zealous to take up any task enthusiastically. He has 2 Patents of his credit and Myriad of Publications in reputed National and International Journals. He also published 3 review chapters in edited volumes and has presented around 25 papers in various National and International conferences.
Dr. Ravi Kiran is a Journal referee and Editorial Board Member in various International journals. He is a Life Member in Indian Science Congress Association (No. L12492), Society of Biological Chemists of India (No. 3052) and Twin Cities Association of Biochemists (TAB).
Dr. Ravi Kiran also delivered 10 Invited lectures in various Universities in India. He organized 7 National Conferences, 5 Faculty development workshops and 3 students’ research workshops. He guided more than 100 students for their dissertation work and two students for their M.Phil., programme. Currently 3 students are pursuing their Ph.D. programme under his supervision. He is also a Resource person and Advisory Board Member for various International and National Conferences. Dr. Ravi Kiran is also a Member BOS and BOE in Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Microbiology of various colleges and Universities in Hyderabad and India. He is one of the core committee members in Department of Biochemistry, Osmania University for framing the CBCS syllabus for both UG and PG courses. He is the Co-author of B.Sc., Biochemistry Book published by telugu Akademi, Hyderabad.
He is recipient of Associate Fellow Award, Telangana Academy of Sciences (TAS) in 2016 and appointed as Co-ordinator for Ranga Reddy, Vikarabad and Medchal by TAS mainly to ignite the young minds towards Science and Technology. He is also a recipient of Best Faculty Award from Aurora’s Degree & PG College, Best Faculty Award from Nehru Group of Institutions, Coimbatore, Teaching and Research Excellence Award, Chennai, Distinguished Educator Award, IRSD and Best Researcher Award, I2OR in association with Western University, Australia. At present, he is heading Biochemistry Departments at Aurora’s Degree & PG College and serving as Dean, Life Sciences and Research and Development cell of Aurora’s Degree & PG College. To promote research among youngsters, various activities and conferences are being conducted under his guidance. He always motivates young minds towards research and makes them present their research findings at various conferences and seminars across India.
Mrs. Niramala has completed her post graduation in Biochemistry from Sri Ventakaswara University in 1981. She has teaching experience of 12 years, research experience of 2yrs and 33 years of technical experience in food analysis, water analysis and vaccine production. She has worked in institute of Preventive medicine as assistant director and also as Deputy Manger (quality control) in AP foods. She attended various national workshops and training programmes.
Ms. G. Bindu has completed her Post-graduation in Biochemistry from Osmania University. She has 14 years of teaching experience. She has completed M.Phil., in 2015 and pursuing Ph.D. Her areas of interest include molecular biology and endocrinology. She has actively participated in conferences, Seminars, workshops and involves herself in various extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. She is the member, BOE in various colleges at Hyderabad. She is a Life Member in Indian Science Congress Association and Society of Biological Chemists of India (No. 3051). She qualified SET conducted by the Govt. of Telangana in the year 2019.
Ms. Sunitha has completed her Master’s Degree in Biochemistry from Osmania University. She has done a certificate course in 'Fundamentals of Bioinformatics 'at' Biovoice Institute of Bioinformatics'. With an overall 13 years of teaching experience for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, she is good at mentoring and is also an active researcher. She has presented papers in various National and International Conferences. She is the member, BOS and BOE in various colleges at Hyderabad. She is a Life Member Society of Biological Chemists of India (No. 3054).
She has completed her Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Osmania University in 2014. She has a teaching experience of 5 years. Her areas of interest include Biochemical genetics, Metabolism of carbohydrates, Molecular Biology and Plant Biochemistry. She has actively participated in various seminars and workshops.
Mr. Ashwin kumar working as assistant professor in the department of biochemistry has pursued his Master degree in Biochemistry from Osmania University. He has two years of teaching experience. He worked under DBT star project. He published two research papers and presented research findings in various National and International Conferences. His areas of interest include Cell Biology and Biochemical Metabolism.
Nagavani Veeranki did her masters in Biochemistry from MVR PG College and joined M. Phil in the department of Biochemistry under the guidance of Professor T. Raghavarao at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, AP, and later she continued her Ph.D. under the same guidance and graduated in the year 2017. After completing her Ph.D., she joined Aurora's degree and PG college, Chikkadapally, Hyderabad as Sr. Assistant Professor in the same year and since then has been involved in teaching Molecular biology, Microbiology, Cell signaling, Cell biology, analytical techniques, rDNA technology. Her research interests are in analytical instruments like HPLC, Column chromatography and she also involved in analytical research in the field of drug discovery mainly on medicinal flowers with anticancer activity. She has authored 5 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. She is the recipient of Dr. K.V. RAO'S Scientific society young scientist award (2nd Runner up) and worked as faculty in News Degree College, Aditya Degree College and Krishna Government College. She had attended 2 national workshop, 3 international conference (presenter) and 15 national conferences.
Bindu Chavan Sharaf completed her Master’s in Biochemistry from Aurora’s Degree and Pg. College and also has a master’s degree in MA English from Alagappa University Chennai. She also was active participant in NCC. She completed her courses in phycology and nutrition and health from swayam moocs. She completed her summer project at University of Hyderabad on HPIP gene. Her areas of interest are Human physiology, Nutrition and Biochemistry.
Mr. G. Rahul has completed his post graduation in Microbiology from Osmania University in 2009. He posses teaching experience of 7 ½ years and 3 ½ years in research. He has worked in Centre for DNA Fingerprinting as project JRF. He has 3 international publications and has attended various national and international conferences. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D.
Dr. B. Leelamani has completed her Master’s in Biotechnology from University of Madras, Chennai in 2002 and her M. phil in Biotechnology from Bharatiyadasan University, Chennai in 2007 and Ph.D in Plant Biotechnology from Rayalaseema University, Kurnool in 2020. She has teaching experience of 14 years. She has published 7 papers in international journals.
P. Shailaja has completed post-graduation in Biotechnology from University College of Science, Osmania University. She has 1 ½ years of teaching experience. She has qualified TS-SET in 2019.Her areas of interest include cell biology, industrial and plant biotechnology.She has participated in various seminars and events at college and state level.
