Department of computer science is one of the best and most extensively equipped departments with sophisticated amenities for the benefit of the students. The lab is the aura of the College with serene atmosphere, which will imbibe creative thinking in the students. All the software used is licensed and latest. We are the only college in twin cities to have UPS with 8 hrs back up. Altogether there are 104 PC’s and three servers, a few of them with Internet facility, which can be utilized by the students for the preparation of projects, seminar presentations and for various academic activities. The lab has the ambience that is apt for aiding long hours of learning and experimentation requirements. The department has highly qualified faculty to help and assist the students to excel and perform better in all spheres of life. The faculty members work with commitment and dedication for the well being of the taught. The sessions are not just informative but thought provoking for the students.
The Department of Electronics is one of the active Departments in the college with committed faculty. The department focuses on the basics as well as applications of electronics in context of both Digital and Analog. The labs primarily aim at giving the student in depth and practical knowledge on circuit analysis, basic electronic devices and integrated circuits. It also stresses on the Microprocessors that gives students a strong grounding on all the aspects of computer software and hardware technologies. Electronics lab is well equipped that can meet the students requirements as well as standards of Osmania University.
Mathematics is the most ancient subject of sciences and so is the Department of Mathematics in Aurora’s Degree College. The Department consists of a versatile combination of senior experienced faculty and active young faculty. Mathematics is the parent subject for Physical Sciences and it’s like a backbone for technological advancement in today’s world. Therefore great care is taken to explain the subject matter in such a way that, even an average student is able to understand it.
