  • Agenda 1: Review of AQAR 4 along with AQAR 1,2,3
  • Discussion: The strengths of the institution and the aspects which need improvement were analyzed along with heads & facilitator/coordinators depending on the AQAR 4. The college is successful in organizing to various academic activities beyond curriculum which enhance the knowledge base among the faculty members & students along with co-curricular & extracurricular activities for students for nurturing all round growth.
  • Agenda 2: Add-on/ Certificate/ Diploma/ Bridge Program Programs
  • Discussion: A considerable amount of Add-on/certificate programs like ‘Mushroom cultivation’ for life science students which can support students to build a start-up & promote the entrepreneur development activity among the students were conducted. Courses on ‘Multimedia’ ‘Advance Excel’ ‘Medical coding’ which prepare the students with job opportunities were organized. The course on ‘Embeded Systems & IOT project ideas’ has contributed in generating new project ideas among the students motivating them towards research & innovation. There is a need to increase the number of students participating in such programs by creating awareness, along with the increase in the number of these programs.A Bridge Program was organized for first year students of Commerce from non-commerce background on basic inputs the program in the month of August.
  • Agenda 3: Participation in SWAYAM, NPTEL, MOOCS
  • Discussion: The students are provided with the information about the programs which are offered on SWAYAM, NPTEL etc. The student participation in these programs must improve.
  • Agenda 4: Research & Development:
  • Discussion: a) There a significant increase in the number of faculty completing Ph.D. and due to the motivation from this the number of faculty registering for Ph.D. programs in various fields had increased. The faculty members qualifying SLET/NET has also improved.
    b) The faculty have published research papers in SCOPUS INDEXED, UGC CARE, National & International journals. The book chapters in the books published by National & International publishers like Taylor & Francis, Apple Academic Press are contributed by faculty. There is scope to improve in this aspect a bit more actively by all departments.
    c) The College as organized conferences in many advanced and contemporary fields which contribute towards the sustainable growth of new ideas. Some conferences are organized in collaboration with the professional bodies & some are organized with a multidisciplinary perspective by all the departments of the college. The papers presented in these conferences were published in the college journal ‘ANTHARMUKHA’, some were published in UGC-CARE journal and as PROCEEDINGS of the conference.
  • Agenda 5: Organizing IPR,Incubation & ED activities.
  • Discussion: a)The activities related to Intellectual Property Rights were conducted by the college but there is a great scope in improving activities in this regard in collaboration with professional bodies.
    b) The college has signed an Memorandum Of Understanding with Osmania University Technology & Business Incubator (OUTBI) for conduction activities related to incubating Entrepreneur Development.
  • Agenda 6: Organizing Faculty Development Programs, Workshops, Seminars etc
  • Discussion: Around 25 workshops & seminars have been organized by several departments of the college in a variety of topics for students for skill development, improving knowledge base, providing hands on experience in technical fields like ‘Android application development’ ‘R programming etc. The department of English organized a ‘Seminar on NEP 2020’. There is need to put more efforts in creating improve awareness about NEP.FDPs are organized by the departments on the areas which contribute towards faculty professional development.
  • Agenda 7: Collaborative & Extension activities.
  • Discussion: a)The faculty exchange & student exchange programs are conducted but the number is very less. All the departments have to make efforts to improve in this aspect so that the faculty as well as students are exposed to a completely new environment which is different from the college. The faculty & students both get an opportunity to interact with peers and the resource persons form their field enriching academic experience. The faculty need to take up consultancy work.
    b) There are a good number of extension activities by NSS, NCC and Social Activity cells. These activities are motivating the students to be good citizens and for contributing in community development activities towards sustainable growth in aspects like protecting environment, overcoming many social issues etc.
  • Agenda 8: Alumni Collaborative Activities
  • Discussion: Thealumni have contributed in grooming the juniors towards preparing them for placement activity & Career progression in general. Many interactive sessions were arranged with alumni, many mock interviews sessions & other placement related guidance was provided by the alumni of the college. The alumni are coming forward in contributing funds for the development of college. However the alumni meet could not be organized since a long time which must be planned soon.
  • Agenda 9: Placement& Capability Enhancement Programs
  • Discussion: The placement training for final year students is beingprovided along with extended training for various competitive exams and also for other industries like banking andgovernment jobs. This is being done in addition to the inputs being given by the college faculty.
  • Agenda 10: Preparing for the NAAC cycle 2 accreditation&Internal Audit by IQAC
  • Discussion: The heads of the departments & the criteria wise heads were informed keep the information pertaining to all the seven criteria along with necessary reports/documentation updated for the review by IQAC. The IQAC shall audit all the data related to AQAR 1, 2, 3 & 4 in the month of October. If any data is incomplete that needs to be updated and completed. A SWOC analysis will be done criteria wise aiming at future growth.
  • Agenda 11: Preparation of Self Study Report by IQAC
  • Discussion: The IQAC shall work on preparing a Self-Study Report in coordination with criteria heads and heads of the department. In depth SWOC analysis will be completed along with the self-study reports. A proposed plan shall be prepared based on this.

Future plan of action:

  • External audit by Academic &Administrative Audit is to be conducted in the month of November 2023.
  • Alumni funding is to be streamlined & Alumni meet to be organised.
  • Parent Teacher Association is to be formed soon for improving stakeholder relationship.
  • Preparing for cycle two towards improving accreditation grade.
  • Taking up more number of IPR & ED activities.
